La-Z-Boy posts quarterly loss

ATLANTA, Feb 13 (Reuters) - La-Z-Boy Inc. on Tuesday posted a quarterly loss as sales fell and it wrote down the value of assets of businesses it plans to sell.

The Monroe, Michigan, furniture maker and retailer reported a loss of $7.8 million, or 15 cents a share, for the third quarter ended Jan. 27, compared with earnings of $10.5 million, or 20 cents a share, a year earlier.
