Hearst Corp. is expanding its digital video content with the addition of Corey Moss as senior vp production and development at Hearst Digital Studios.
Moss was previously senior vp digital at talent management firm Principato-Young Entertainment, where he worked on several projects for platforms such as AOL and Yahoo. Maker Studios picked up comedy series Ithamar Has Nothing to Say, produced in partnership with Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele.
Moss, who will remain based in Los Angeles, will help expand HDS’ scripted and non-scripted digital video businesses and create branded content. HDS launched its first subscription video-on-demand service, CosmoBody, a fitness and lifestyle channel created in conjunction with Cosmopolitan, on July 15.
